Meghan Trainor Opens Up About Her Sex Life With Daryl Sabara, Getting Pregnant & Why She Thinks She's Having Twins

Meghan Trainor opened up about the journey she and Daryl Sabara embarked upon to get pregnant a second time.

The 29-year-old “Mother” pop star announced that she was expecting earlier this year. She and Daryl welcomed their first child, a son named Riley, in 2021.

During a recent interview, Meghan shared some intimate details about the couple’s sex life leading up to her pregnancies. She also explained why she was sure she was having twins and their possible sex this time around.

Speaking with ET, Meghan said that she and Daryl were having sex three times a day during the pandemic in the hopes of getting pregnant.

“It was the time,” she said, “[It was like] ‘Is the world going to ever open up again? What shall we do? Are you bored?’” The singer added that “it wasn’t like romantic and fun. I was like, ‘It’s now!’”

Of course, she then learned that it didn’t work that way: “Then I learned about the science of how you ovulate, and it’s like one magic moment. So when you miss it that month, you’re like, ‘What’s wrong? Why can’t I get pregnant?’ You just miss that window of ovulation, so then I learnt and bought ovulation sticks, you could pee on those every day.”

She also shared why she was “immediately” sure that she was having twin girls this time around, saying that all of her information has come from Google so far.

“I thought I was a month behind. So when I took my blood my numbers were huge because I was farther along and I kept Googling, ‘What does it mean if my numbers are so high?’ And they’re like, ‘Twins, for sure,’” Meghan explained.

She added that she’s experiencing a variety of symptoms, saying that she was “freezing,” “nauseous” and “felt like I had the flu every day.”

“And I was like, ‘She’s ripping me apart, it must be a girl, it must be twins, that’s what’s going on,’” she continued.

Meghan recently revealed what her husband did for her before she gave birth the first time around. She also provided an update on their shared bathroom situation.
