Princess Charlene Makes Rare Appearance Abroad to Attend King Charles' Coronation with Husband Prince Albert

Princess Charlene of Monaco made a rare appearance abroad to attend King Charles’ Coronation and it happened almost exactly one year after she returned to the public eye.

The 45-year-old former Olympic swimmer was joined by her husband Prince Albert II of Monaco while attending the historic event on Saturday morning (May 6) at Westminster Abbey in London, England.

Charlene spent most of 2021 in South Africa after struggling with her health. She then entered a treatment facility for “exhaustion, both emotional and physical” in November 2021. On the last day of April in 2022, she finally returned to the public eye after a six-month absence.

Ever since Charlene‘s return to the public eye, she has made several appearances in Monaco, but rarely has done any abroad. She did attend Queen Elizabeth‘s funeral in September last year.
