Johnny Depp has reportedly received the million dollar settlement from his legal battle with Amber Heard, but he won’t be holding onto it for long.

If you forgot, the couple settled out of court in late 2022 following a very public legal defamation lawsuit. Amber agreed to pay $1 million to her ex.

Now that Johnny has received the funds, a new report is shining light on what he plans to do with it. It turns out he’ll be donating it to several charities, and two of the donations will allegedly honor some of his Hollywood heroes.

According to TMZ, Johnny will be giving $200,000 to five different charities: Make-A-Film Foundation, The Painted Turtle, Red Feather, Tetiaroa Society and the Amazonia Fund Alliance.

Of the five, The Painted Turtle and Tetiaroa Society have special connections to Paul Newman and Marlon Brando. Johnny is reportedly bookmarking donations to the organizations so that he can “continue their legacies.”
