Quincy Jones Rushed to Hospital Due to Medical Emergency

Quincy Jones was hospitalized.

The 90-year-old Grammy Award-winning musician went to the hospital Saturday afternoon (June 17) after suffering a medical emergency, according to new reports.

A rep for the star spoke out to TMZ on Sunday (June 18), saying he had a “bad reaction to some food he ate.”

“Out of an abundance of caution he called 911 for help,” the spokesperson went on to say.

Paramedics were called to his home in Los Angeles, and they transported him to the emergency room.

The rep also noted that he never lost consciousness and was in “great spirits” by the time he was given the all-clear by doctors. We’re happy to hear he’s doing okay!
