Sinéad O'Connor's Friend Reveals Her Final Text Messages To Him: Some Were 'Laden with Desperation & Despair'

Singer and songwriter Bob Geldof is speaking out about his friend Sinéad O’Connor, who passed away at the age of 56 last week.

Bob was in attendance at the Cavan Calling Festival in Cavan, Ireland over the weekend and paid tribute to the late entertainer.

While on stage, Bob told the audience, “She was a very good friend of mine. We were talking right up to a couple of weeks ago.”

“Some of the texts were laden with desperation and despair and sorrow and some were ecstatically happy,” he continued (via the Independent). “She was like that.”

Police recently gave an update and ruled out one big cause of death.
