Samantha Barks Pregnant, Expecting First Child with Husband Alex Michael Stoll; Announces Maternity Leave from London's 'Frozen' Musical

Samantha Barks is going to be a mom!

The 32-year-old actress, best known for her work in the 2012 movie musical Les Miserables and the London production of Frozen the Musical, is expecting her first child with husband Alex Michael Stoll.

Samantha announced the news on her Instagram account on Tuesday (August 1) by sharing a photo of a baby basket with a sign sharing the news.

“We are so excited to meet you little one 👶🏻❤️,” Samantha captioned the post. The sign in the baby basket reads, “We have been keeping a tiny little secret. Baby Barks-Stoll. Due October 2023.”

She also shared a video of her, Alex, and their dog revealing the sonogram photo.

Samantha is currently playing Elsa in Frozen the Musical in London and will be going on maternity leave. It was announced that Jenna Lee-James will take over the role during the break.
