Brody Jenner Says He Wants to be 'Exact Opposite' of Dad Caitlyn Jenner After Welcoming First Child

Brody Jenner is a dad!

On Thursday (August 10), the 39-year-old reality star and DJ announced that he and fiancée Tia Blanco had welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Honey Raye.

While documenting their birth experience on YouTube, Brody talked about the kind of father he wants to be, admitting that he wants to be the “exact opposite” of his own father, Caitlyn Jenner.

“I think that what I’m most excited about is doing things differently than my father did,” Brody shared, adding that Caitlyn, 73, “wasn’t really around for me growing up.”

Brody went on say that when he was younger, he “didn’t have the greatest relationship” Caitlyn and that has influenced him to do “the exact opposite” from Caitlyn, adding that he hopes on “being the absolute best father I could possibly be and getting ready for the journey and just so very excited.”

Brody and Caitlyn have had a very rocky relationship over the years, but the two appear to be on good page now.
