Bella Heathcote to Make L.A. Stage Debut in 'The Engagement Party' Play!

Bella Heathcote will be making her Los Angeles stage debut at the Geffen Playhouse!

The Aussie actress, best known for roles in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and the series The Man in the High Castle, will star in the play The Engagement Party.

Directed by Tony Award winner Darko Tresnjak, the play originated in 2019 at Hartford Stage and is now heading to the west coast with a cast that also includes Wendie Malick, Jonah Platt, and more.

Here’s the synopsis: “The champagne is on ice, the hors d’oeuvres are perfectly arranged, and the table is exquisitely set. At a swank Park Avenue apartment, a young couple is celebrating their engagement with an intimate gathering of family and friends. When a glass of wine is spilled, the night takes an unexpected turn, unleashing a spiraling sequence of events and revelations that will irrevocably change their lives.”

The Engagement Party will run from October 4 through November 5 and tickets are on sale now via the Geffen Playhouse.
