Drew Barrymore's Alleged Stalker Arrested Outside of Her New York Home After Rushing Stage at Event Just Days Ago

Drew Barrymore has been dealing with a scary situation this week, but it hopefully is almost under control.

The man who rushed the stage while Drew was hosting a 92Y event with singer and actress Renee Rapp has been arrested after he was trying to find her home in Long Island, N.Y.

Deadline reports that Chad Michael Busto was “detained by Southampton police yesterday after he was reported going from door to door in the area apparently seeking directions to Barrymore’s home.” It has been reported that she thankfully was not home at the time of the incident.

This isn’t the first time Busto has been arrested. He has also faced criminal arrests in Santa Monica, Georgia, Texas, and other places.

At the 92Y event, Busto rushed at the stage, shouting his name and saying, “You know who I am. I need to see you at some point while you’re in New York.”
