Pete Davidson Confirms He Went to Rehab, Reveals the Drug He Did Daily for Four Years

Pete Davidson is opening up about his health.

The 29-year-old Saturday Night Live alum kicked off a comedy show at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Ettes Arena in Atlantic City, New Jersey with John Mulaney and Jon Stewart on Sunday (September 10), where he addressed a recent stay in rehab.

“I am fresh out of rehab, everyone,” he told the crowd. “I got that post-rehab glow. Seventh time’s the charm!”

He revealed he took ketamine daily for four years.

“It was magical,” he explained, talking about the drug’s ability to alter his mind.

“One time, I got The Wiggles to mesh with Schindler’s List,” he joked.

He admitted he even attended Aretha Franklin’s 2018 funeral while high and said he couldn’t believe he went out in public in that state.

With his 30th birthday coming up in November, Davidson told the audience he believes you “can’t do drugs in your 30s” because “it’s not cute anymore” and “you’re just a drug addict” when you do drugs at that age.

When John took the stage after Pete, he called himself “a former amateur drug trafficker” during his set. If you didn’t know, he began a 60-day stint in rehab in December 2020 after relapsing on his sobriety.

Jon ended the show with his own set, joking that the audience just took a journey “from rehab to recovery to hospice.” He also joked about bringing two comedians in recovery to perform in a casino, calling it the 13th step of a 12-step program.

Pete Davidson‘s mother just posted a touching tribute to his father, who died on 9/11.
