Halle Berry Reveals Drake Did Ask for Permission to Use Slime Photo & She Said 'NO'

Halle Berry is further explaining why she is upset about Drake using her image for his single artwork.

The rapper dropped his new song “Slime You Out” featuring SZA just a few days ago and the song’s artwork features a photo of Halle covered in slime while attending the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.

Halle posted a quote on her Instagram page over the weekend that said, “Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy … even if you’re a woman!” In the comments she responded to a follower who asked her thoughts on Drake‘s single cover.

In her original comments, Halle confirmed she didn’t give permission and now she’s answered another question to reveal more.

Another follower said, “While I do understand your side, that photo is owned by Getty Images. So I’m sure he got their permission. And paid the fee. Why you mad?”

Halle wrote back, “Cuz he asked me and i said NO that’s why. Why ask if you intend to do what you want to ! That was the f*uck you to me. Not cool You get it? ❤️”
