Kerry Washington & Tony Goldwyn Recreate an Iconic 'Scandal' Scene While Promoting Her Memoir

Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn are teaming up for an epic reunion!

On Wednesday (September 27), the Scandal stars recreated an iconic scene from their popular ABC political drama that aired from 2012 to 2018.

Kerry starred as Washington D.C. crisis manager Olivia Pope in the series, and Tony played the President of the United States, Fitzgerald Grant.

In the video posted to Kerry‘s Instagram, the former costars re-enact their scene in the series finale where Olivia walks down a hallway to the song “The Light” by the Album Leaf and knocks on President Fitz’s door.

They simply say “hi” to each other in the closing scene. Presumably, that means they ended up together.

The 2023 version features Kerry walking down a hallway in a beautiful red ensemble before knocking on Tony‘s door and exchanging “hi”s with him. Then, they both break character and begin to laugh and hug.

“Hi 👋🏾 D.C #Olitz is ready for you ❤️,” the actress captioned her post, referencing the ship name for their characters’ relationship.

Kerry recently rocked three fashionable looks to promote her new memoir, “Thicker Than Water.”
