Jaden Smith's Girlfriend Wears Her Mug Shot to Court

Jaden Smith‘s girlfriend Sarah Snyder has had a run-in with the law in the past and she wore a t-shirt with her mug shot on it to court this week.

The 19-year-old was arrested back in June after allegedly stealing a $15,995 Hermes bag from a boutique in Westchester County, N.Y. She was charged with one count of third-degree grand larceny.

“As of last night, we made it clear to the district attorney’s office that we would not be accepting any offers or any pleas and that no pleas would be entered. The only thing we are interested in is an exoneration and an apology,” Sarah‘s lawyer Robert Schuster said in a statement to Entertainment Tonight. “At this point we are preparing for a potential trial, whether it is to be tried as a felony or a misdemeanor.”

“My clients are free to express themselves in any way that they choose, and I do not advise them one way or the other on availing themselves of their First Amendment privileges,” the lawyer continued.

“Despite months of reckless speculation to the contrary, my client, Ms. Sarah Snyder is erroneously charged in this matter,” Schuster added. “It is asserted that Ms. Snyder was not even in the State of New York at the time this incident allegedly occurred. Ms. Snyder is incredulous that she was charged and my office will fight to the very end to protect her innocence.”
