Meet Broadway's 'Book of Mormon' Actor Donell James Foreman with These 10 Fun Facts! (Exclusive)

Donell James Foreman is one of the rising stars on Broadway and he is currently starring in the Tony-winning musical The Book of Mormon!

The 30-year-old actor made his Broadway debut in the show after traveling on-and-off for the past 10 years, working on roles in productions of Hairspray and Mamma Mia!. Now back at home in New York City, Donell is about to make his Feinstein’s/54 Below solo concert debut with his brand new pop music experience, titled The Dirty 30 Tour or, Play-List: A Pop Music Memoir.

We recently caught up with Donell to learn more about him. Read his 10 Fun Facts below:

• 1. I’m a leap year baby – meaning, I was born on February 29th. That makes me (technically) 7 1/2 years old.
• 2. My dream as a child was to be a Janet Jackson backup dancer. (This is still my dream).
• 3. I’ve performed in every US state (including Alaska and Hawaii) except: Idaho, Maine, New Hampshire, North Dakota, and Wyoming.
• 4. I’ve also performed in Australia, China, Canada, and Scotland.
• 5. The first concert I ever went to was the MC Hammer Too Legit to Quit Tour.
