Evan Peters Is Skipping the Next 'American Horror Story' Season

We have some sad news for fans of American Horror Story.

Evan Peters, the only actor to be a series regular for all eight seasons of the FX anthology series, will not be appearing in the upcoming ninth season.

“No, I’m going to sit a season out,” Evan told Extra.

Evan previously revealed that he has felt “exhausted” by the roles he plays on AHS.

“It’s just exhausting. It’s really mentally draining, and you don’t want to go to those places ever in your life,” he told GQ last summer. “And so you have to go there for the scenes, and it ends up integrating it somehow into your life. You’re in traffic and you find yourself screaming and you’re like, What the hell? This isn’t who I am.”

It was previously revealed that Evan‘s ex Emma Roberts will be starring in the ninth season and Olympic medalist Gus Kenworthy will play her boyfriend.
