Charlie Hunnam Had COVID-19 This Year & Might Have It Again Now

Charlie Hunnam is opening up about his battle with COVID-19 earlier this year and how he’s currently sick with something that feels like the virus.

The 40-year-old actor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Friday night (November 6) to promote his movie Jungleland and revealed that he’s currently under the weather.

“I’m not sure what I have,” Charlie said. “I have a little bit of a persistent fever, a dry cough, a little bit of fatigue, so… it could be COVID. I went and had a test earlier this week, a rapid test, and it came back negative. So I could just be unfairly jumping to conclusions. But it feels consistent.”

Charlie revealed that he contracted coronavirus earlier this year and it wasn’t as bad.

“I had it earlier this year, and it didn’t feel like this,” Charlie said. “It wasn’t particularly acute, I just lost my sense of taste and smell for about 10 days, and had a little bit of fatigue. This feels very, very different. This feels much more like flu.”

Charlie got sick “very early on” in the pandemic and people hadn’t known about the loss of taste and smell as a symptom yet. He said, “so that piece of this hadn’t really come to light as a symptom of mild COVID.”

Charlie says he’s surprised if he has the virus again as the only time he’s left the house in the last six months was for a vet visit with his new rescue kitten.

“Whether I just have a cold or flu or something, the only time I’ve ever been in any sort of contact with the outside world was taking her to the vet, and it turns out what she has is feline coronavirus,” he said.

Earlier this week, Charlie opened up about the rumors of him playing James Bond.

The 34-year-old entertainer is blocked on Twitter by Trump so she asked her fans to “tag the ex president” in response to her messages.

“My god it feels like I just took off a weighted blanket, unhooked my bra and taken out my extensions all at once,” Chrissy first tweeted after hearing the news.

Chrissy also posted a video from outside her home and showed how it rained. She said in the video, “Nature is cleaning itself. It’s Los Angeles!”

Chrissy also trolled Trump by doing an impression of something he said in 2016. He said, “We’re going to win so much, you’re going to be so sick and tired of winning, you’re going to come to me and go ‘Please, Mr. President, we beg you sir, we don’t want to win anymore. It’s too much. It’s not fair to everybody else.’”

CNN contributor Van Jones teared up while discussing the impact of Joe Biden winning the election, just moments after the former VP was declared the project winner of the election.

The 52-year-old Emmy-winning journalist said that it’s “easier” to be a parent now that Trump will no longer be in office.

“Well, it’s easier to be a parent this morning. It’s easier to be a dad. It’s easier to tell your kids character matters. It matters. Telling the truth matters. Being a good person matters,” Van said.

He continued by saying, “And it’s easier for a whole lot of people. If you’re Muslim in this country, you don’t have to worry if the president doesn’t want you here. If you’re an immigrant, you don’t have to worry if the president’s going to be happy to have babies snatched away, or send dreamers back for no reason. This is vindication for a lot of people who have really suffered.”

Van said, “You know the ‘I can’t breathe?’ That wasn’t just George Floyd — that was a lot of people who feel they couldn’t breathe. Every day you’re waking up and you’re getting these tweets and you just don’t know. You’re going to the store, and people who have been afraid to show their racism are getting nastier and nastier to you, and you’re worried about your kids, and you’re worried about your sisters. Can she just go to Walmart and get into her car without somebody saying something to her? You spend so much of your life energy just trying to hold it together. And this is a big deal.”

It is being reported that Donald Trump was at his golf course in Virginia when his opponent Joe Biden was declared as the projected winner of the presidential election.

Political reporters revealed on Saturday morning (November 7) that Trump arrived at the golf course and just minutes later, Pennsylvania was called for Biden and that gave him the presidency.

At around 12:35pm EST, CNN showed live footage of the golf course and reported that he seemingly was still there playing a round of golf.

TrumpGolfCount.com says that Trump has made 283 visits to golf clubs since his inauguration, with evidence of playing golf on at least 140 visits, as of October 16, 2020. The estimated cost to taxpayers for these visits is $142 million.

Despite Trump being on the golf course, his team released a statement on his behalf in which he said that his campaign will be going to court on Monday to fight the vote counts.
