Julianne Hough flashes a smile at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (May 20) in Las Vegas.

“Getting ready! Excited to be presenting at the @billboard music awards later! #bbma,” the 23-year-old actress and singer tweeted earlier in the day.

“@billboard music awards just kicked off! Who are you excited to see perform tonight?!” Julianne wrote in another tweet.

Julianne can next be seen on the big screen in Rock of Ages, opposite Tom Cruise, Diego Boneta, and Malin Akerman.

The flick, also co-starring Alec Baldwin and Catherine Zeta-Jones, hits theaters June 15!

The 31-year-old singer will be presenting the Billboard Icon Award to Stevie Wonder during tonight’s telecast.

Alicia will also be performing with him – the duet comes eight years after the two performed “Higher Ground” at the 2004 MTV VMAs, according to EW.

“Backstage working out the songs with #steviewonder yesterday! I’m like a kid in a candy store! #bbma,” Alicia tweeted.

She’s also up for Top Artist (against Adele, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, and Rihanna) and Top Hot 100 Song for “E.T.” featuring Kanye West!

Nelly Furtado and Brandy hit the 2012 Billboard Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (May 20) in Las Vegas.

The 33-year-old Canadian singer wore Alberta Ferretti, while Brandy, also 33, showed some leg in a low-cut mini dress.
