Phillipa Soo looks beautiful while walking the red carpet at the 2016 Tony Awards held at the Beacon Theatre on Sunday (June 12) in New York City.

The 26-year-old actress is nominated for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for her work as Elizabeth Schuyler in Hamilton.

Also in attendance at the event were her co-stars Leslie Odom Jr. and Christopher Jackson, both nominees as well!

Leslie and Christopher brought along their wives, Nicolette Robinson and Veronica Jackson, respectively.

Lin-Manuel Miranda brought Broadway to tears in his acceptance speech for Best Score at the 2016 Tony Awards held at the Beacon Theatre on Sunday (June 12) in New York City.

The 36-year-old actor wrote a sonnet for his speech, and paid tribute to the victims of the senseless Orlando shooting that happened the night before.

“This show is proof that history remembers/ We live through times when hate and fear seem stronger/ We rise and fall and light from dying embers remembrance that hope and love last forever,” Lin-Manuel said.

Audra McDonald is a fab flapper while performing on stage at the 2016 Tony Awards held at the Beacon Theatre on Sunday (June 12) in New York City.

The legendary Broadway actress was joined in the performance by her co-stars Brian Stokes Mitchell, Joshua Henry, Billy Parter, and nominees Brandon Victor Dixon and Adrienne Warren.

Brandon was nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical and Adrienne was nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical, but they both lost out to the stars of Hamilton.

Shuffle Along is nominated for a total of ten awards tonight, including Best Musical.

Renee Elise Goldsberry accepts her award on stage at the 2016 Tony Awards held at the Beacon Theatre on Sunday (June 12) in New York City.

Just a few moments later, Daveed Diggs, her Hamilton co-star, also took the stage to accept his Tony Award! Both won Best Supporting awards for their work in the hit musical. Daveed was accompanied to the show by his partner Jalene Goodwin.

Hamilton is up for 16 awards this evening, and has already won quite a few! Stay tuned for more all evening.

Jonathan Groff suits up while walking the carpet at the 2016 Tony Awards held at the Beacon Theatre on Sunday (June 12) in New York City.

The 31-year-old actor was nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical for his work as King George in the musical Hamilton, but he lost to co-star Daveed Diggs.

Andrew Rannells, who replaced Jonathan in the musical, was joined on the carpet at the event by his longtime boyfriend Mike Doyle.

Also in attendance at the event was Jonathan‘s former Glee co-star Jenna Ushkowitz.

FYI: Jonathan is wearing Calvin Klein Collection. Andrew is wearing a J.Crew tuxedo. Mike is wearing a full Brooks Brothers look.

James Corden wears a Les Miserables costume while performing the opening number at the 2016 Tony Awards held at the Beacon Theatre on Sunday (June 12) in New York City.

The show started with a Hamilton parody featuring cast members Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, and more singing about James as the host.

James then did a monologue and segued into a number in which he sang about his childhood and how he dreamed of being in Broadway musicals. It ended with him riffing along to some show tunes and was hilarious.

All 20 of the musical acting nominees also stepped out on stage for the opening!

Tony nominee Alex Brightman and the cast of School of Rock perform the hit song “You’re in the Band” at the 2016 Tony Awards held at the Beacon Theatre on Sunday (June 12) in New York City.

The cast was introduced by the show’s composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. The musical is based on the 2003 movie that starred Jack Black. Watch the performance below!
