Tessa Thompson and Lakeith Stanfield are joined by director Boots Riley on the red carpet for the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards on Saturday (June 16) at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

The actors are starring together in the upcoming movie Sorry To Bother You and they were matching in red outfits!

Sorry To Bother You was a hit at Sundance earlier this year and it will be hitting theaters on July 6.

Lakeith just started posting on Instagram to promote the movie. He shared that he named his car Tesla Thompson after his co-star!

Lena Waithe has been announced as the recipient of the Trailblazer Award, which will be presented to her at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards next month.

The 34-year-old Ready Player One and Master of None actress has been breaking ground in Hollywood for the past couple years and she’s the perfect person to receive the honor.

Lena recently became the first woman of color to win an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series, which she received for her work on Master of None.

“Lena is shaking up Hollywood and breaking cultural boundaries through her innovative and authentic storytelling,” said Amy Doyle, General Manager of MTV, VH1 and Logo. “Her unwavering passion for equality and inclusion make her the perfect recipient for this year’s Trailblazer Award.”

The 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards have announced the full list of nominations!

Overall, Black Panther is the most nominated of any other title with seven total nominations.

Other shows and movies that were given multiple nominations include Stranger Things, Riverdale, Game of Thrones, It, Avengers: Infinity War, and more.

Tiffany Haddish will be hosting the show, set to air on Monday (June 18) live on MTV.

Tiffany Haddish is going to be hosting the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards!

The 38-year-old Girls Trip star announced the news on her Instagram account!

“So I got some Great News Everybody! I will be hosting the MTV Movie and TV Awards.. make sure you watch Monday June 18th on MTV. The Awards will be in Los Angeles and it will be fun! #MTVAwards #SheReady #godisgood #mtv #godisshowingout,” Tiffany wrote on her Instagram account. Watch her announce the news below!
