Congratulations to Roma – the movie won Best Picture at the 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday (January 13) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

The film was nominated for eight awards at the show and won three more – Best Director for Alfonso Cuaron, Best Cinematography for Alfonso, and Best Foreign Language Film.

Alfonso was joined by actors Yalitza Aparicio and Marina De Tavira on stage to accept the final award of the night.

The other Best Picture nominees were Black Panther, BlacKkKlansman, The Favourite, First Man, Green Book, If Beale Street Could Talk, Mary Poppins Returns, A Star Is Born, and Vice.

Antonio was nominated for Best Actor in a Movie/Limited Series, Ben was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Movie/Limited Series (and won!) and Diego was nominated for Best Actor in a Drama Series.

Best Supporting Actor in a drama series nominee Matthew Macfadyen, Best Actor nominee Willem Dafoe and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse‘s Shameik Moore were all in attendance at the event.

Debra Messing attends the Critics’ Choice Awards for the very first time!

The 50-year-old Searching actress stepped out for the event held at Barker Hangar on Sunday (January 13) in Santa Monica, Calif.

She was joined by 43-year-old Halloween star Judy Greer.

Debra dazzled in a sparkling sheer gown, and Judy turned heads in a colorful floral dress.

Debra is up for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her portrayal of Grace Adler in Will & Grace.

Also in attendance were Rhea Seehorn, Brianna Hildebrand, Poppy Delevingne, and Patricia Heaton.

The 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards just wrapped up and we have the full list of winners right here!

This was quite the star-studded show that had lots of fan favorite stars winning big. Lady Gaga took home two awards, Christian Bale took home two awards, and there were two separate categories that had 2 winners each in a tie!

The cast of The Big Bang Theory appears on stage to present a special award to television producer Chuck Lorre at the 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday (January 13) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik, Melissa Rauch, Jim Parsons, Simon Helberg, Kaley Cuoco, and Johnny Galecki were all present to honor Chuck with the Career Achievement Award.

Chuck is the creator of such shows as The Big Bang Theory, Mom, Two and a Half Men, Dharma & Greg, Mike & Molly, Young Sheldon, and most recently, The Kominsky Method.

Kaley wrote on Instagram, “I’ve known this man for almost 20 years, and he has never ceased to amaze me.. he’s one of the smartest, funniest, loyalist people I know and I’m honored to call him my forever friend. Congrats, Chuck Lorre on your @criticschoice & @goldenglobes awards!! ❤️ you!!”

The Crazy Ex-Girlfriend actress stepped out at the event on Sunday afternoon (January 13) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

She was also joined by Justina Machado and Allison Janney, who were all nominated in the TV Best Actress category.

They were also joined at the event by TV Best Supporting Actress nominees Annie Potts, Miriam Shor and Rita Moreno.

One fan was not pleased with the bit Sarah performed, and tweeted, “DID SARAH SILVERMAN JUST SAY NOOSE AS SHE HAD SCARF AROUND HER NECK???”

Sarah responded on Twitter, “Its a reference to the movie bird box where people blindfold themselves bc if they don’t they see their biggest fear and it makes them kill themselves. It was a reference to the movie bc I was presenting best horror.”
