H.E.R. hits the stage for the opening performance at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (May 23) in Los Angeles.

The 23-year-old singer has been having a big month because she won an Oscar less than a month ago for the song she wrote for Judas and the Black Messiah.

H.E.R. hit the stage at the BBMAs with DJ Khaled and Migos for a performance of their song “We Going Crazy.”

While the others weren’t nominated for any awards this year, H.E.R. was up for Top R&B Song for “B.S.,” a song that she did with Jhene Aiko. The award went to The Weeknd for “Blinding Lights.”

Gabrielle Union looks stunning in a gorgeous white dress at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (May 23) in Los Angeles.

The 48-year-old actress hit the red carpet alongside her fellow presenters Lena Waithe, Renee Elise Goldsberry and Padma Lakshmi.

Gabrielle is slated to be presenting Top Selling Song, while Renee will present Top Female Country Artist.

Meanwhile, Padma will hit the stage to introduce BTS’ performance, and Lena will present Top Latin Artist.

Kelsea Ballerini hits the red carpet at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (May 23) in Los Angeles.

The 27-year-old country singer walked the carpet in a chic look wearing a Nedret Taciroglu dress.

While not nominated for an award this year, Kelsea will be hitting the stage tonight to introduce the Jonas Brothers and Marshmello‘s performance of “Leave Before You Love Me” at the show.

If you didn’t hear, Kelsea will be going out on tour with the Jonas Brothers this summer!

Just recently, it was revealed that Kelsea will be hosting this other awards show soon!

The 31-year-old musician stepped out for the ceremony held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (May 23) in Los Angeles.

Leading the nominations, The Weeknd has already picked up Top Male Artist, Top R&B Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top R&B Male Artist, Top R&B Album, Top Radio Song, and Top R&B Song.

We still have to wait to see if he’ll pick up Top Selling Song, Top Hot 100 Song, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Hot 100 Artist, and Top Artist.
