Julianne Moore and Michelle Williams walk the carpet at the premiere of their movie After the Wedding during the 2019 Sundance Film Festival on Thursday (January 24) in Park City, Utah.

The ladies were joined at the event by their co-stars Abby Quinn, Alex Esola, and Tre Ryder, as well as Julianne‘s husband Bart Freundlich, who wrote and directed the film.

Here is the synopsis: “Seeking funds for her orphanage in India, Isabelle (Williams) travels to New York to meet Theresa (Moore), a wealthy benefactor. An invitation to attend a wedding ignites a series of events in which the past collides with the present while mysteries unravel.”

The movie is a gender-swapped remake of Susanne Bier‘s 2006 movie After the Wedding, which was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 2007 Oscars.

The 58-year-old Oscar-winning actress went pretty in a black and teal dress while the 48-year-old movie producer looked cool in a black suit for the event.

Julianne Moore and Armie Hammer are joined by their spouses while arriving for the Salvatore Ferragamo show held during Milan Fashion Week on Saturday (September 22) in Milan, Italy.

The stars were joined by Julianne‘s husband Bart Freundlich and Armie‘s wife Elizabeth Chambers.

Some of the other celebs in attendance at the event included Nocturnal Animals star Ellie Bamber and Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again‘s Jeremy Irvine with girlfriend Jodie Spencer.

Julianne Moore walks the red carpet at the premiere of her new movie Bel Canto on Thursday (September 13) at Cinepolis Cinema in New York City.

The Oscar-winning actress was joined at the event by her husband Bart Freundlich, as well as co-stars Christopher Lambert and Gabo Augustine.

Julianne plays an opera singer who gets involved in a hostage situation while performing at a politician’s party in South America. Her singing voice was provided by opera singer Renee Fleming.

Julianne talked with Renee for a new interview with Town & Country magazine, in which she talked about how she prepared for the role.

“I learned about you, I spoke to you, I listened to your music, I sat in classes with good opera teachers and young students,” she said. “I worked with Gerald, I talked to directors, I went to the Metropolitan Opera and spoke to everybody who was there. One of the things that I find in research is that if you ask a question, someone will answer it. People are generally open and helpful. They want you to get it right.”

The 57-year-old Still Alice star and the 48-year-old film director stepped out for the event held at the Celeste Bartos Theater at the Museum of Modern Art on Monday (March 12) in New York City.

Julianne donned an all-black ensemble, accessorizing with a maroon purse and brown shoes.

They were joined by Susan Sarandon, looking stylish in a floral leather jacket, black cap, and circular shades, along with Ellen Burstyn and Rebecca Miller.

Rebecca, who is married to Daniel Day-Lewis, directed the HBO documentary about her father, playwright Arthur Miller.
