All the stars stepped out for Christian Siriano‘s fashion show to kick off 2021 New York Fashion Week at Gotham Hall on Tuesday night (September 7) in New York City.

The designer got support from Katie Holmes, Lil’ Kim, Busy Philipps, Kristin Chenoweth, and Alicia Silverstone, who all sat front row at the event.

Other stars at the event included singer Kim Petras, model Coco Rocha, entrepreneur Leah McSweeney, Selling Sunset‘s Christine Quinn, musicians Slayyyter, and María Zardoya.

Aquaria, Nico Tortorella, Bethany C. Meyers, writer Alok Vaid-Menon, and Caroline Vazanna also stepped out for the show, and watched a special performance from Marina on the runway.

“For this collection I went back to a simpler time and looked to my past. I was inspired by the Italian women in my life,” Christian shared about the inspiration behind the collection. “The old photographs of my grandmother in the 60′s and 70′s on holiday in Positano wearing her apricot orange dress inspired an Italian coastal collection filled with color and joy. I wanted it to feel powerful and strong but also romantic like any true Italian woman.”

He added, “I hope this collection transports you like it did me and demonstrates that fashion remains to be both nostalgic but also hopeful for what is to come in the future.”

Busy Philipps is weighing in on Seth Rogen‘s recent comments about James Franco.

Last month, Seth made headlines when he revealed that he has “no plans” on working with James again amid sexual assault allegations. He also admitted that the allegations has “changed many things” in their relationship.

In a new interview, Busy shared her thoughts on Seth‘s comments.

If you didn’t know, Busy, Seth, and James all starred together in the cult favorite TV series Freaks and Geeks, which ran for one season back in 1999.

Tina Fey and Busy Philipps are hitting the red carpet at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival on Friday (June 11) in New York City.

The pair suited up for the festival’s Tribeca Talks series, where Busy moderated a conversation between the SNL alum and longtime collaborators Robert Carlock, Meredith Scardino and her husband Jeff Richmond.

Tina looked super chic in a black and white gingham suit which she paired white sneakers.

Busy opted for an oversized suit with a lavender bustier underneath, finishing her look with lots of beaded jewelry and gold hoops.

The group chatted about their work on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Mr. Mayor and their latest project, Girls5Eva, which follows a one-hit-wonder girl group from the 90’s gets sampled by a young rapper, so its members reunite to give their pop star dreams one more shot.

Sara Bareilles is heading to television in the new comedy series Girls5eva and Peacock just released the show’s first trailer!

In the new series, a one-hit-wonder girl group from the 90’s gets sampled by a young rapper, so its members reunite to give their pop star dreams one more shot. They may be grown women balancing spouses, kids, jobs, debt, aging parents, and shoulder pain, but can‘t they also be Girls5eva?

Also starring in the series are Busy Philipps, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Paula Pell, Ashley Park, and Erika Henningsen as the younger version of Paula’s character.

Tina Fey is among the executive producers and she actually has a connection to both Erika and Ashley. They starred in the Broadway musical version of her movie Mean Girls!

All eight episodes of Girls5eva will be available to stream on Peacock on May 6.

Busy Philipps is opening up to fans.

During the most recent episode of her podcast Busy Philipps is Doing Her Best on Thursday (December 31), the 41-year-old actress revealed that her eldest child Birdie, 12, is gay.

“For those of you who are my friends listening at home, this is the first you’re hearing that Birdie is gay and out,” Busy shared with her cohosts Shantira Jackson and Caissie St. Onge. “Birdie told us at 10 years old and we immediately… I mean obviously, I knew that Birdie knew.”

Later in the podcast, Busy also revealed that Birdie prefers using the they/them pronouns.

“I said, ‘You know, Bird, I’ve been doing a bad job with the pronouns,’” Busy recalled. “Because Birdie said that they would like their pronouns to be they/them, and I haven’t been doing it, and I said because I have this public persona and I want Birdie to be in control of their own narrative and not have to answer to anybody outside of our friends and family if they don’t want to.”

Busy continued, “Bird was like, ‘I don’t give a f—k. You can talk about how I’m gay and out; you can talk about my pronouns. That would be cool with me. That’s great.’ So I said, ‘OK, I can talk about it on the podcast.’”

“So Birdie, my out kid, prefers they/them,” Busy added. “I f—k up sometimes, but I’m trying my best at that, too.”

Quarantine is proving tough on many couples, but Busy Philipps is finding a way to get some healthy space.

The 41-year-old Dawson’s Creek actress opened up to Us Weekly about her relationship with husband Marc Silverstein and staying at home with the kids in LA.

“It’s hard for everybody in all ways. It’s hard for my friends who are living with roommates who they loved previously, but you’re spending 24 hours a day, seven days a week with them…I’ve been lucky enough recently to go back to work. I’m shooting a new TV series,” she revealed.

“Having that time out of the house and being out, doing the thing that I really like to do, has been important for me. I think once Marc and I sort of figured out how to each take our own time for ourselves or breaks, things got a lot easier. We just had to prioritize. You have to prioritize yourself a little bit, then you have to be open to the fact that maybe you need to be generous to your significant other and ask them if they need to prioritize themselves,” she continued.
