The ladies of Girls5Eva gather up for a group shot while arriving for NBC’s FYC House event in Los Angeles on Thursday (May 19).

Renee Elise Goldsberry, Sara Bareilles, Busy Philipps and Paula Pell joined showrunner Meredith Scardino at the event, where they hyped up the new season of the show, which airs on Peacock.

In a recent interview with Variety, Paula opened up about the music featured this season on the show, saying that she loved all the ones that made them cry the most.

“I love the ones that that really take a moment and don’t have to be just snarky comedy,” she shared. “I don’t think this show is snarky comedy anyway. But I think in comedy, you want to keep the jokes coming. You want to keep the laughing going. You don’t want land too long on something that’s very serious.”

Paula continued, “I feel like the songs are such good times for us to be in that serious moment for a second and just sound like a great pop ballad that makes you cry with your face down in the pillow after you go on a bad blind date.”

Girls5eva is returning to Peacock very soon and the first look at season two has been revealed!

Sara Bareilles, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Busy Philipps, and Paula Pell revealed the first clip from season two during a panel at SXSW on Saturday (March 12).

The show’s executive producer and showrunner Meredith Scardino said in a statement, “Season 2 of Girls5eva answers the simple question: What would happen if Girls5eva was renewed for a second season? We are so excited to share the next chapter in Dawn, Wickie, Gloria, and Summer’s journey as they enter ‘Album Mode’ and embark on making their first studio album on their own terms.”

Joe Jonas shows off his huge arm muscles while performing with brothers Nick and Kevin on stage at iHeartRadio’s Z100 Jingle Ball 2021 on Friday night (December 10) in New York City.

The trio of musicians were joined at the big event by fellow performers Saweetie, Ed Sheeran and Lil Nas X.

Charli XCX and Tate McRae also hit the stage for some performances along with Chloe Bailey and special guests, Girl5Eva‘s Busy Philipps and Renee Elise Goldsberry.

Sisters Charli and Dixie D’Amelio reunited backstage for a cute moment too.

Others spotted at the annual concert event included Bazzi and on-stage presenters Drew Barrymore and Martha Stewart.

This other musician was supposed to perform tonight, but had to drop out.

In a new interview with ET, the actress opened up about what she’s learned since her oldest child, Birdie, came out as queer and started using they/them pronouns.

She had first discussed Birdie coming out in an episode of her podcast earlier this year.

Busy Philipps is calling out Chris Pratt on the latest episode of her podcast.

The 42-year-old actress brought up The Tomorrow War star’s Instagram post which caused a lot of controversy over how he referred to his daughter, Lyla, with Katherine Schwarzenegger.

The post drew criticism over the fact that he used “healthy” to describe the young girl, while his son, Jack, with Anna Faris, has health struggles.
