Vivica A. Fox Calls Out Jada Pinkett Smith's Lack of 'Accountability' After Oscars Slap

Vivica A. Fox is getting emotional while discussing Jada Pinkett Smith‘s recent comments about husband Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.

If you don’t remember, on Oscars night back in March, Chris made a joke about Jada‘s bald head. Moments later, Will went on stage and slapped Chris and told him, “Keep my wife’s name out your f–king mouth.”

On Wednesday (June 1), Jada finally addressed the situation on the latest episode of her Red Table Talk.

“Now about Oscar night, my deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out and reconcile,” Jada said. “The state of the world today, we need them both. And we all actually need one another more than ever.”

“Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we have done for the last 28 years, and that’s keep figuring out this thing called life together. Thank you for listening,” she added.

Then on Thursday (June 2), Vivica – who has worked with both Jada and Will in the past – appeared as the guest co-host on The Wendy Williams Show, where she held back tears talking about the situation, and called out Jada for taking “no accountability.”

Jay Leno Reacts to Will Smith-Chris Rock Oscars 2022 Slap

Jay Leno is the latest comedian to react to Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.

The 71-year-old late night star opened up in an interview with the Palm Beach Daily News ahead of a standup performance.

“To me, the thing that’s most disturbing wasn’t the slap, because he was kind of smirking after he slapped (Rock),” he said.

“It was the yelling of the obscenities. Then you go, ‘Whoa. What’s going on here?’ This is real anger.”

He also reacted to the decision to ban Will Smith for a decade from the ceremony, and to launch a formal investigation.

“What are you investigating?” he said.

“It had to be the most recorded assault in history. I saw the back of his shoe, I saw Chris’ ear. There were so many cameras on this incident. What are you investigating? I know sometimes things are just what they appear to be.”
