Glenn Close proudly shows off her award while attending the Museum of the Moving Image Salute on Monday night (December 3) in New York City.

The legendary actress was honored at the event by both Christian Slater and Ethan Hawke, who attended with daughter Maya Hawke.

Glenn spoke with The Daily Journal at the event and said that she is comfortable being considered a role model for young women.

“I do. I do. Yes, I’m very proud of that. And, I think that has mattered too. I speak through my work,” she said. “I’m not somebody who has made a huge political stand. I really believe that art is vital for the soul and heart of our country and our culture. And I believe in positive contributions to our collective nervous system.”

The Empire actress served as a presenter for the night, where she presented the award for Hollywood Breakout Actor to John David Washington for his role in BlackKklansman.

Also in attendance was Octavia Spencer, who presented the Hollywood Ensemble Award to the Green Book cast. Michael Keaton also presented an award to Green Book to Peter Farrelly, Nick Vallelonga and Brian Currie for the Hollywood Screenwriter award.

Also pictured on the red carpet at the event was Christian Slater, who presented the Hollywood Actress Award to Glenn Close.

The Public follows a sit-in by patrons at a public library that escalates into a police standoff and a media sideshow.

Rami Malek and Christian Slater strike a pose at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Grants Banquet!

The 37-year-old 24 actor and the 48-year-old Mr. Robot star attended the event held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Thursday (August 9) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

They were joined by Jason Bateman, William H. Macy, Steve Carell, Allen Leech, Ben Hardy, John Cho, John David Washington, Chris Messina, Jason Reitman, Tim Robbins, and Drew Goddard.

The event marks the biggest charitable evening of the year for the HFPA as the organization makes donations and awards grants, amounting to more than $30 million over the past 25 years.

Mila Kunis and Christian Slater served as guests on James Corden‘s couch on The Late Late Show on Wednesday (August 1) and bonded with over their mutual love of dating shows, specifically, The Bachelor franchise.

The 34-year-old actress also recalled how she and her hubby Ashton Kutcher landed a guest appearance in 2017 on ABC’s The Bachelorette, she was three months pregnant with their second child at the time when Ashton suggested they get out of the house.

“His old assistant now produces, he’s one of the on the producers on The Bachelor, so he goes, ‘you wanna go on The Bachelor?’,” Mila recalled. “And I was like, ‘I married the right man’, like I know at that point that I married the right human. Yes, I do. We put on jeans and t-shirts and we’re like we will do anything.”

James also asks Mila about her The Spy Who Dumped Me co-star Kate McKinnon‘s two laughs and sees if Mila and Christian have fake laughs of their own – Watch more after the cut!

That same evening, Mila was spotted holding hands with Ashton as they stepped out from Ellen DeGeneres‘ comedy show at Largo at the Coronet in Los Angeles.

The 39-year-old Ray Donovan actress hit the red carpet at the event held at the Pacific Design Center on Monday (July 23) in West Hollywood, Calif.

She kept it chic in a white blouse and jacket, grey pants, black pumps, and a blue necklace.

She was joined by the film’s stars Glenn Close, Jonathan Pryce, Christian Slater, and Annie Starke.

Also in attendance were Rose Byrne, Carly Chaikin, Jeff Goldblum, and his wife Emilie Livingston.
