Billy Porter and MJ Rodriguez step out on the red carpet at the 2019 GLAAD Media Awards on Saturday night (May 4) at the Hilton Midtown in New York City.

The Pose actors were joined by their co-stars Indya Moore, Ryan Jamaal Swain, Angelica Ross, Angel Bismark Curiel, Dyllon Burnside, and Hailie Sahar, as well as producers Janet Mock and Our Lady J.

Billy was joined on the carpet by his husband Adam Smith.

Pose won the award for Outstanding Drama Series at the event, beating out Billions, Black Lightning, Grey’s Anatomy, The Handmaid’s Tale, Instinct, Shadowhunters, Star, Supergirl, and Wynonna Earp.

FYI: Billy is wearing a Malan Breton look. MJ is wearing a J. Mendel dress. Indya is wearing a Calvin Klein dress and Tyler Ellis clutch. Janet is wearing a SemSem dress.

The new FX series Pose is winning over audiences and we caught up with one of the show’s stars, Dyllón Burnside, to learn more about him!

Dyllón plays the role of Ricky, the boyfriend of Ryan Jamaal Swain‘s character Damon.

• 1. I grew up on a ranch in Pensacola, FL where we raised chickens, cattle, horses and pigs.
• 2. I got my start as a professional performer at age 12 as the lead singer of teenage boy band “3D”.
• 3. The character Ricky in Pose did not exist in the pilot episode. Ryan Murphy, Steven Canals and the team decided to write it for me after auditioning for another role.
• 4. I’m an Aquarius and share a birthday with Mozart.
• 5. If I didn’t pursue an acting career I would’ve studied to be an architect.
