Idina Menzel is making her return to the L.A. theatre scene in the west coast premiere of the play Skintight!

The Tony-winning actress previously starred in the play during its off-Broadway run last year and now she’s reprising her role at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles.

Joining Idina in the show, which was written by Joshua Harmon, are Will Brittain, Eli Gelb, Harry Groener, Kimberly Jurgen, and Jeff Skowron.

Here is the synopsis: Hanging on by a thread after her ex-husband gets engaged to a much younger woman, Jodi (Menzel) retreats to her dad’s swanky Manhattan townhouse. But rather than the comforts of home, she instead finds her aging father’s new live-in boyfriend, Trey—who is 20.

The play is now in previews and the official opening night is set for September 12. Get your tickets now as the limited engagement ends October 6!

Skintight, which is being presented by the Roundabout Theatre Company, is currently in a limited engagement through August 26.
