The 27-year-old actress was also joined on set that day by co-stars Ellen Page, Kiersey Clemons, and Diego Luna.

According to Variety, the film follows “a group of medical students who experimented with “near death” experiences that involved past tragedies until the dark consequences began to jeopardize their lives.”

The original Flatliners film in 1990 starred Kiefer Sutherland, Julia Roberts, and Kevin Bacon.

Ellen Page and Allison Janney flash a smile together while attending the special screening of their latest film Tallulah held by Netflix at Landmark Sunshine Cinema on Tuesday (July 19) in New York City.

The two ladies were joined by their co-stars Evan Jonigkeit and his girlfriend Zosia Mamet, Uzo Aduba, and Tammy Blanchard, writer-director Sian Heder, as well as Sophie Simmons and Marin Ireland.

“Love getting to work with Ellen Page again, we have a lot of fun together,” Allison expressed that same day on the Today show. “It’s so funny, I play her mother in this but off camera I swear she is my mother. She is just so divine, so pleasant and connected to so many things. She’s an extraordinary person.”

The trailer for Ellen‘s upcoming movie Tallulah was recently released ahead of its debut exclusively on Netflix on July 29. The film also stars Allison Janney, Zachary Quinto, and Tammy Blanchard.

Here’s the synopsis: Desperate to be rid of her toddler, a dissatisfied Beverly Hills housewife hires a stranger (Page) to babysit and ends up getting much more than she bargained for.

Ellen Page kidnaps a baby in the first trailer for the new Netflix original movie Tallulah.

Here’s a synopsis: Lu (Page), who lives in a van and is fiercely independent in her hand-to-mouth existence. When a chance encounter incites her to impulsively “rescue” a baby from a negligent mother, Lu, at a loss for what to do, turns to the only responsible adult she knows: Margo (Allison Janney) who mistakenly believes she’s the child’s grandmother.

Tammy Blanchard, Zachary Quinto, John Benjamin Hickey, and Uzo Aduba also star. The film will debut on July 29.

Ellen Page takes the cover of Malibu magazine’s April 2016 issue, on newsstands now.

Here’s what the 29-year-old actress had to share with the mag:

On making her documentary series Gaycation: “You want to have more LGBT stories represented, and obviously we’re seeing that shift, but of course we need more. A big part of making Gaycation, too, is being able to have the community represented and those stories told.”

On traveling around to make Gaycation: “So far we’ve been to Japan, Brazil, Jamaica and the United States. There have been so many different kinds of interesting, because the show is about the joys and the triumphs, or just the nightlife or the day-to-day life or what have you, but sadly it’s also about discrimination and the struggles that a lot of people face who are oppressed. So it’s hard, the word ‘interesting.’ We were able to film and be a part of the very first public sort of ‘Pride’ celebration in Jamaica, and I just can’t even begin to say how moved and honored I felt to be able to witness that and grateful to the people who allowed us to be there, because a lot of people didn’t want to be interviewed anonymously, or would drop out kind of last minute.”
