Henry Cavill stars in the debut trailer for The Witcher, which finally has new footage, new images…and a release date!

The show is set to debut on Netflix on December 20 and by the looks of this trailer, is sure to pack a lot of action.

Henry leads the cast of The Witcher saga, playing the role of Geralt of Rivia, alongside other main cast members, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer and Freya Allan as Ciri.

If you missed it, Henry Cavill showed fans his shirtless torso while filming to show how bruised he got from his stunts!

Henry Cavill brought The Witcher to 2019 Comic-Con!

The 36-year-old actor joined his cast mates for their panel on Friday afternoon (July 19) at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, Calif.

Henry was joined by co-stars Jodhi May, Freya Allan and Anya Chalotra.

The show, based on the best-selling fantasy book series, is centered around a famed monster hunter, Geralt of Rivia who lives in the world of The Continent where humans, elves, witchers, gnomes, and monsters battle to survive and thrive.

The 36-year-old Mission: Impossible – Fallout actor debuted the teaser at 2019 Comic-Con on Friday (July 19) in San Diego, Calif.

His co-stars Anya Chalotra and Freya Allan were also in attendance.

Here’s the synopsis for the show, based on the best-selling fantasy book series: “The Witcher is an epic tale of fate and family … centering around famed monster hunter, Geralt of Rivia (Cavill). [In] the world of The Continent … humans, elves, witchers, gnomes, and monsters battle to survive and thrive, and good and evil is not easily identified.”

The Witcher also stars Jodhi May, Bjorn Hlynur Haraldsson, Adam Levy, MyAnna Buring, Mimi Ndiweni, Therica Wilson-Read, Emma Appleton, Eamon Farren, Joey Batey, Lars Mikkelsen, Royce Pierreson, Maciej Musial, Wilson Radjou-Pujalte, and Anna Shaffer.

We’re getting our very first look at Henry Cavill‘s upcoming Netflix show The Witcher, where he plays the role of Geralt.

We’re also getting out first look at Yennefer (Anya Cholatra) and Ciri (Freya Allan) in the pics released by the streaming service earlier today.

Here’s a synopsis: Based on the best-selling fantasy series of books, The Witcher is an epic tale of fate and family. Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a dangerous secret, the three must learn to navigate the increasingly volatile Continent together.

In addition, we’re just found out that the show will have a panel at San Diego Comic-Con, and these three stars will all be in attendance at the July 19 event. We hope to see the show’s first trailer at that time!
