Celebrities are mourning the loss of music icon Gregg Allman.
It was announced early today (May 27) that The Allman Brothers Band rocker had passed away at the age of 69.
After news of Gregg‘s passing broke, his ex-wife Cher mourned his death with a sweet post on Twitter.
Other celebs like John Mayer, Keith Urban, and Sheryl Crow all took to Twitter to mourn the loss of the country rock star.

Cher Mourns the Death of Ex-Husband Gregg Allman
Cher is speaking out following the death of her ex-husband Gregg Allman.
The 71-year-old entertainer took to Twitter on Saturday (May 27) right after the news was made public to express her emotions.
“IVE TRIED… WORDS ARE IMPOSSIBLE GUI GUI�’” FOREVER, CHOOCH�’�,” Cher tweeted. She later shared a photo of them together and said, “never forget….gui ❤️chooch.”
Cher and Gregg were married from 1975 until 1979 and they shared a son named Elijah Blue.

Gregg Allman Dead - Allman Brothers Band Rocker Dies at 69
Gregg Allman, the legendary founder of The Allman Brothers Band, has died at the age of 69, according to Billboard.
The rocker suffered from hepatitis C for many years and had a liver transplant procedure in 2010. Reports surfaced a month ago that Gregg had entered hospice, but he insisted he was resting at his home on doctor’s orders.

Gregg canceled all of his tour dates for 2017 back in March due to his health issues.
Allman will be remembered for such hits as “I’m No Angel,” “Midnight Rider,” “Jessica,” and “Whippin’ Post.”
