It looks like Olivia Rodrigo will be one of the artists on the soundtrack for the upcoming The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes!

The 20-year-old “vampire” singer’s official fan page tweeted out a telephone emoji, while another fan page tweeted the number to her hotline, which when you call, it plays a snippet of a guitar playing a somber song.

The Hunger Games franchise director Francis Lawrence is confirming how that Rachel Zegler bow happened in the upcoming prequel The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.

The director has helmed all of the Hunger Games movies, except the first one, and he confirmed in a recent interview that the moment was definitely a nod to Jennifer Lawrence‘s bow in the first film.

A play based on Suzanne Collins’ acclaimed novel and the blockbuster film will premiere in the Fall of 2024 in London, England.

The first-ever live stage adaptation was penned by playwright Conor McPherson, who adapted the first book from the epic series and the first film from film franchise for the live theatrical production.

Rachel Zegler takes on “The Hanging Tree” from The Hunger Games and the track just debuted on Friday (October 20)!

The 22-year-old actress will be performing the song as Lucy Gray Baird in the upcoming prequel movie The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, and it marks the origin of the song before it gets passed down generations.

If you recall, Jennifer Lawrence sang the song in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 back in 2014.
