Nicole Scherzinger and Tom Francis pose together with their trophies after winning at the 2024 Olivier Awards held at The Royal Albert Hall on Sunday (April 14) in London.

The two actors won Best Actress in a Musical and Best Actor in a Musical for their work in Sunset Boulevard – Congratulations!!!

In addition, the musical won Best Musical Revival and Jamie Lloyd won Best Director.

This marks Nicole‘s second Olivier nomination and her first win. She was previously nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical in 2015 for her performance in Cats.

During the awards ceremony, Tom also performed the show’s titular song.

Another star who picked up a big win at the awards show was Succession‘s Sarah Snook, who picked up Best Actress for her work in the play The Picture of Dorian Gray.

These big wins for Sunset Boulevard come several months before the musical makes its transfer to Broadway, with Nicole making her Broadway debut as she reprises her now award-winning role as Norma Desmond.

Jessica Chastain has opening on Broadway in her second show!

The Oscar-winning actress hit the red carpet at the opening night performance of her play A Doll’s House on Thursday (March 9) at the Hudson Theatre in New York City.

Jessica was joined on the carpet by her co-stars Arian Moayed and Okieriete Onaodowan, as well as director Jamie Lloyd and playwright Amy Herzog, who adapted the classic play.

The show is getting great reviews and Jessica‘s notices are glowing. The New York Times writes that she tells Nora’s story “beautifully.” The Hollywood Reporter says “watching her break and slowly rebuild herself with steely resolve once the soul-deadening reality of her marriage is exposed is thrilling.” The Guardian says she “is captivating as Nora, providing a robust understanding of Nora’s inner life beyond the cruelty she suffers.”

The play is running now through June 10.

James McAvoy is celebrating the opening of his play Cyrano de Bergerac!

The 42-year-old actor stepped out for the gala party on Thursday night (April 14) at the BAM Harvey Theater in New York City.

James was joined by co-stars Evelyn Miller and Eben Figueiredo, as well as director Jamie Lloyd. The play is now in the U.S. after winning the Olivier Award for Best Revival from the London production.

Charlie Cox reunites with Zawe Ashton and Tom Hiddleston at the 2020 Tony Awards on Sunday (September 26) at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City.

The three stars of Betrayal were also joined by director Jamie Lloyd at the award show.

Betrayal was nominated for Best Revival of a Play. However, the award was won by A Soldier’s Play.

The play is the story of “an illicit affair that unfolds in reverse—from the end of a marriage to the first forbidden spark” and was based on a real affair.
