Trevor Noah is all smiles while speaking to the press at his The Daily Show with Trevor Noah panel during Viacom Networks portion of the 2015 Summer TCA Tour on Wednesday (July 29) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Also in attendance were Rachel Brosnahan and John Benjamin Hickey onstage during their Manhattan panel discussion for the WGN America portion, as well as director Angela Bassett for her Breakthrough panel discussion at the National Geographic Channel portion.
Trevor, 31, opened up to reporters about what changes we can expect from The Daily Show.
“In terms of the show, physically, we are obviously changing the set a tiny bit,” Noah expressed (via IGN). “We still want the show to be recognized as The Daily Show because that’s what it still is. In terms of content on the show, I guess we’re still dealing with the same issues. The issues are not really changing in America and in the world, so really it’s just a different angle that we are looking at things from, and it’s my angle, really, but the show still has its voice. It’s just that I’m at the helm taking things in a slightly different direction but still trying to get to the same end place.”
