Margot Robbie‘s Birds of Prey cohorts have been cast!

Mary Elizabeth Winstead will play the Huntress, who is popular in the Batman comics, and Jurnee Smollett-Bell will play Black Canary, an expert fighter, THR reports.

Margot will reprise her role as Harley Quinn in the film, which will open in theaters on February 7, 2020. Margot played the role in DC Universe film Suicide Squad opposite Jared Leto. Casting is reportedly still underway for other characters in the franchise film. Stay tuned as we learn more news!

Eva Longoria put her baby bump on display at the premiere of A Wrinkle In Time!

The 41-year-old pregnant actress stepped out at the event on Monday evening (February 26) at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

Eva was joined at the event by Ellen Pompeo and her eight-year-old daughter Stella.

They were also joined by Laura Dern, who brought her 13-year-old daughter Jaya, Salma Hayek, Tracee Ellis Ross, Anthony Anderson, Tessa Thompson and Yara Shahidi.

The ladies were just a few of the actresses that hit the stage share empowering messages to the half of a million people in attendance!

After her speech, Connie took to Instagram to share this powerful message: “Holding hearts over LA! And talking about upstanders…those who stand up and do something when they see injustice. Today’s Womens’ Marches around the country were filled with upstanders. And when you put a bunch of upstanders together…that’s a movement! Especially when it’s HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF THEM! And we’re going to upstand all the way to the voting booth!”

Laverne Cox, Danielle Brooks, and Samira Wiley are all glammed up for the red carpet at the 2018 NAACP Image Awards at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Monday (January 15) in Pasadena, Calif.

Danielle was nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on Orange Is the New Black while Samira, who used to star on the Netflix series, was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for The Handmaid’s Tale.

Also in attendance were Samira‘s wife Lauren Morelli, a writer on Orange.

Shanola Hampton had a big night at the 2018 Art of Elysium Heaven Gala on Saturday night (January 6) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The Shameless star was awarded the Spirit of Elysium award that night. The award is given to an artist who “lives their life in a state of constant creativity, in constant search of personal and spiritual growth and in constant service to others.”
