The first feature film made during the pandemic now has a trailer.

The upcoming thriller, which does not yet have a release date, co-stars KJ Apa and Sofia Carson.

Here’s a plot summary: “Four years into quarantine the virus has changed and so have we. In the terrifying thriller, the COVID-23 virus has mutated and the world is in its fourth year of lockdown. Infected Americans are ripped from their homes and forced into quarantine camps known as Q-Zones, from which there is no escape, as a few brave souls fight back against the forces of oppression. Amid this dystopian landscape, a fearless courier, Nico (Apa), who’s immune to the deadly pathogen, finds hope and love with Sara (Carson), though her lockdown prohibits them from physical contact. When Sara is believed to have become infected, Nico races desperately across the barren streets of Los Angeles in search of the only thing that can save her from imprisonment…or worse.

The movie also stars Bradley Whitford and Demi Moore as a wealthy couple who may hold the key to Nico’s mission; Alexandra Daddario as a singer enmeshed in a messy and forbidden affair; Paul Walter Hauser as a disabled veteran whose best friend – a drone named Max – is his eyes and ears to a world that has left him behind; Craig Robinson as Nico’s boss; and Peter Stormare as the corrupt head of the city’s “sanitation” department, which seizes those infected and transports them to the Q-Zone.

The film was produced by Michael Bay and directed by Adam Mason.

Vanessa Morgan is seen out in public for the first time on Thursday (October 8) in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The 28-year-old pregnant actress joined her co-star Madelaine Petsch to film scenes for their show Riverdale.

Vanessa announced her pregnancy back in July, and shared a sonogram photo of her baby boy in August.

There has been no word on if her pregnancy will be written into the show, which will have a seven year time jump in the upcoming fifth season.

Also seen on set that day were Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart, KJ Apa, Camila Mendes, Charles Melton and Casey Cott.

The cast is back to work after being off for a week when production was shut down temporarily due to COVID testing delays. Many other productions in Vancouver were also shut down.

Riverdale is set to return on Wednesday nights in January 2021 on The CW.

The stars of Riverdale have been spotted out and about in Vancouver, Canada after completing their 14-day quarantine!

KJ Apa was all smiles while stepping out to get some coffee from a local Starbucks shop on Sunday afternoon (September 6).

That same day, Camila Mendes and Madelaine Petsch were seen walking their dogs together while going for a coffee run as well.

Lili Reinhart also stepped out on Sunday to take her dog for a walk while chatting on the phone.

Last week, Lili made headlines when she said that she feels “like a prisoner” during the quarantine period in Vancouver. The cast had to quarantine after arriving in town from the U.S.

Lili then said her words were taken out of context.

“Love it when my words are taken out of context YET AGAIN. I’m not complaining about going back to work, I’m incredibly grateful to have a job. I’m sad that I can’t see my family for months on end due to travel restrictions. FFS, leave me alone,” she tweeted. “No wonder people think I’m this pissed off girl all the time. I annoy myself having to speak up about this 🙄.”

KJ Apa is luckily doing ok after an on-set accident.

The 23-year-old actor revealed on Instagram that he had recently “split” his head open while filming his upcoming movie Songbird.

On his social media account, KJ showed his bloody head after splitting it open on Wednesday (July 29). The next day, he showed the staples in his head.

“I split my head open yesterday…I don’t know if you guys can see that, but I have two stitches in there, metal stitches,” KJ said in video clips on his Instagram Story on Thursday (July 30).

This is now the second accident KJ has had in the last few days. He recently got a piece of metal stuck in his eye!

KJ Apa and Dylan Sprouse are enjoying a night out on the town!

The 23-year-old Riverdale actor and the 27-year-old Suite Life of Zack & Cody actor shared a laugh while out to dinner on Monday night (July 27) in Silverlake, Calif.

Joining the guys for dinner was Dylan‘s girlfriend Barbara Palvin along with model Stella Maxwell.

Earlier that day, the trailer for Dylan‘s upcoming movie After We Collided was released. The movie will be out on October 2 in theaters and On Demand.

KJ recently took to Instagram to share a pic of himself showing off his ripped six-pack abs!

“Your local pool boy is ready for hire,” KJ captioned the below pic.

KJ Apa broke down in tears after finally getting a “shard of metal” out of his eye following a dramatic experience that was documented on his Instagram account.

The 23-year-old Riverdale actor posted a two-minute video on social media in which his friend and hairstylist Jason Schneidman helps him remove the piece of metal from his eye.

“Bro, it’s stuck in there, bro. It’s really stuck,” KJ said at one point while looking in the mirror. “I have to work tomorrow.”

KJ ended up using a cotton swab to get the shard out of his eye. When his friends confirmed that the shard was removed, he broke down.

“a shard of metal got stuck in my eyeball,” he captioned the post, which you can see below.

Two more stars have been added to the cast of Michael Bay‘s pandemic movie, Songbird.

KJ Apa and Sofia Carson are the latest actors who will be featured in the flick, opposite Demi Moore, Jenna Ortega, Craig Robinson, Paul Walter Hauser, and Peter Stormare.

Set two years in the future during a pandemic lockdown, Songbird centers around an essential worker who has a rare immunity, a delivery man who delivers goods and hope throughout the city. Like the vast majority of the population, his girlfriend is locked within her home, and the couple have no ability to physically be together.”

KJ will star as the motorbike courier named Nico and Sofia is Sara, a young artist.

The casting comes just after SAG-AFTRA rescinded a stop-work order on the movie.

“SAG-AFTRA has rescinded its Do Not Work order for the feature film Songbird and members are free to work on this production effective immediately,” the organization stated earlier this month.
