Mark Harmon's Real Life Wife Pam Dawber Comments On If He's Leaving 'NCIS'

Pam Dawber made her first appearance ever on NCIS tonight.

The 69-year-old actress, and real life wife to Mark Harmon, played a journalist on the show, who Gibbs ultimately talks to about why he is on suspension from the agency.

Following the episode, Pam opened up about her appearance on the show, which she was adamant wasn’t a romantic one for Gibbs.

“I talked to the writers and the producers before I signed on and said, ‘If this is a romantic interest, I’m not interested,’” she recalled to Entertainment Weekly. “They said not at all, that’s not where we’re going with this.”

Pam also commented on the big speculation that Mark might be leaving the long-running series at the end of the season.

CBS Exec Talks Status of Pauley Perrette's Claims Against Mark Harmon

Pauley Perrette left her hit CBS series NCIS after the end of season 15 and made a serious allegation against her co-star Mark Harmon.

She tweeted, “I am terrified of Harmon and him attacking me. I have nightmares about it.”

Now, CBS boss Kelly Kahl is speaking out to say that the allegations have been “resolved.”

“I can’t speak to to what she’s addressing in her tweets. She came to us with a workplace concern, we immediately investigated it and resolved it to everyone’s satisfaction, and we’re very happy to have her on the air with us this year. I don’t think she’d be back with us if she had huge concerns,” Kelly said at the TCA Summer Press Tour (via Deadline).

Pauley will be starring in the midseason comedy Broke, which will air on CBS in 2020.
