Mel B is speaking out to address the sound issues that marred the Spice Girls‘ first show on their reunion tour.

The girl group – minus Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) – are back on the road for a string of dates in Europe. Fans took to social media after the first show to complain about the sound quality.

People reported not being able to understand the words because of muffled sound and some even had no clue which song was being performed at times.

“Hey guys, thank you for attending our show tonight in Dublin. We will see you in Cardiff and hopefully the vocals and the sound will be much, much better,” Mel said in an Instagram Story video she recorded in bed. She ended the video with a frustrated sigh.

The Spice Girls just had their first show on their reunion tour and one thing that fans were looking out for was how Mel B and Geri Halliwell would act around each other.

You might remember that a couple months ago, Mel revealed during an interview that she and Geri hooked up years ago.

Geri spoke out via her rep and said that she was disappointed by the rumors spreading around because they were not true.

Well, it looks like there is no bad blood between the two stars. They were seen embracing during the show on Friday night (May 24) in Dublin, Ireland.

The Spice Girls are back on tour and it looks like the first show on their 2019 Reunion Tour was a big hit!

Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Mel B (Scary Spice), Melanie C (Sporty Spice), and Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice) are on the road together for the next month. Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, chose not to join them on tour.

The tour kicked off on Friday night (May 24) with a show at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.

The group is performing 13 shows on the tour and British singer Jess Glynne is their opening act.

Mel B is recovering after a very scary moment.

The 43-year-old Spice Girl posted a selfie following news reports that she’d gone temporarily blind after a reported herpes infection in her eye.

“Thank you so much for all the lovely support and messages I’ve had about my eye. Just so you know the real truth. I had an awful experience last week when I went blind in my right eye and my left eye went blurry. Even though the stupid press said I’m ok and this has happened to me many times before, just to be clear I was NOT ok and this has NEVER EVER happened to me before,so who every is selling this story ‘a close reliable source’ is full of BS and needs to get there silly facts right big time,” she wrote.

“I was actually in a lot of pain and very very scared but thanks to the incredible eye specialists in A&E at London’s Moorfields Hospital and after at Luton and Dunstable University Hospital I was diagnosed by and eye specialist with severe IRITIS in my right eye and UVEITIS in my left eye.I’m taking multiple prescription heavy duty eye drops and other medication the dr gave me that I have to take every day to keep the inflammation under control,Also I’m being so well looked after by Team Spice special thanks to our paramedics too!!im still dealing with it and will be fir the next 3/4 months to fully get it under control but I’m no longer worried that my condition will get worse. My only problem now is I have to find a very cool Scary eye patch. Does anyone – apart from Madonna – know where I can get one ?? #eyepatch Pls #takingcareofme thank you #nhs,” she continued.

Mel B is back at work after a recent hospitalization.

The 43-year-old singer went to the hospital on Friday (May 17) after complaining about being blinded in her right eye, UK’s The Sun reports.

“She’s doing fine now, she’s not blind,” a source told People. “This has happened before. She has herpes in her eye, so this can happen.”

Mel lost vision her left eye back in the 1990s after a botch laser surgery.

“She told the doctor she was blind because she couldn’t see but her eye is OK,” the source continues. “They gave her some drops and she’s good now. It was nothing major.”

After her vision was restored, Mel left the hospital and returned to her rehearsals for the upcoming Spice Girls tour.

Late last month, Mel B said she had hooked up with Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell during their Spice Girls days, but now, Geri‘s rep is totally denying those rumors.

“It has been very disappointing to read about all these rumours again, especially on [U.K.] Mother’s Day of all days. Geri loves the Spice Girls: Emma, Melanie, Melanie and Victoria [Beckham]. She would like [the fans] to know that what has been reported recently is simply not true and has been very hurtful to her family,” her rep told DailyMail.

“Moving forward, Geri can’t wait to see the girls and all the fans on the tour, have an amazing time with everyone, and make some new memories,” her rep added.

Mel B revealed that she spoke to Geri Halliwell after admitting that they hooked up back during their Spice Girls days.

“It wasn’t, like, a big deal,” Mel B said on the 2DayFM Breakfast With Grant, Ed & Ash radio show on Tuesday (March 26). “We’ve known each other for 20-plus years. It was just one of those things that happened one night.”

She also said she did speak with Geri after making the confession, saying, “I did the interview, but I just texted her and said: ‘I admitted on Piers that we had a little bit of a thing but don’t worry about it, it was all tongue in cheek and I didn’t go into detail.’”

“‘I said: ‘This was pre your husband, pre your baby, pre one of my babies. It’s fine.’ I don’t know why everyone’s making such a big deal about it,” she continued. “We had a long conversation. She texted me the night of [the interview] and then we spoke at length today – amongst other things ’cause we’re getting ready for tour right now.”
