Spice Girls‘ Mel B has filed court documents to have Eddie Murphy hand over financial papers to assess child support payments.

The 45-year-old singer and 59-year-old comedian share a 13-year-old daughter, Angel.

The court documents read, according to Us Weekly, “Eddie and Melanie have both established careers in the entertainment industry. Melanie is a singer, songwriter and television personality. Eddie is a legendary comedian and actor. Until recently, Melanie has been fortunate in her career to sustain a comfortable lifestyle for herself and Angel. Unfortunately, Melanie’s income has dramatically reduced, such that she must consider modifying child support for the first time.”

The documents also say she has made “numerous efforts to resolve this case without court intervention without any success…Melanie was left with no choice but to file this.”

When they last agreed to terms in 2009, Eddie was reportedly ordered to pay $25,000 a month in child support, as well as Angel’s health insurance. He is also supposed to contribute to her education.

In addition to Angel, 13, Eddie is also dad to Eric, 31, with Paulette McNealy, Bria, 30, Miles, 27, Shayne, 26, Zola, 20, and Bella, 18, with Nicole Murphy, Christian, 29, with Tamara Hood and Izzy, 4, and Max, 22 months, with fiancée, Paige Butcher.

The Spice Girls – all five of them – had a reunion amid the Coronavirus pandemic but they kept it safe with social distancing!

“As things slowly, slowly start to get back to normal and we’ve all started to meet up with friends again haven’t we?,” Emma Bunton said on her radio show. “Which is strange… I actually started to think I would never see them again… well unless it was on Zoom calls. And this week, yes, I finally got to meet up with Geri, Mel B, Mel C and Victoria!”

“Now you may think we propped up a bar somewhere or had drinks in the garden but no! We went on a social distancing walk in the woods, yes!,” Emma added.

We’re glad to see there’s no bad blood or drama between the women after this story emerged.

Mel B is opening up about her work struggles.

As the expiration date for her work visa draws closer, the 44-year-old Spice Girls singer is ready to head back to the United Kingdom so she can find steady work again, The Blast reports.

In new court documents, Mel claims she is having trouble finding steady work since her judging gig on America’s Got Talent ended last year.

“My United States Visa expires in February 2020. I will not be permitted to work or live in the United States after that point,” the documents read. “During my marriage to Stephen [Belafonte], we lived in Los Angeles, where I worked. However, all of my sources of income in the United States have been exhausted. My contract on the show, ‘America’s Got Talent,’ ended in September of 201 8 after several years of my participation. I have not had steady income in the U.S. for over a year.”

Also revealed in the court documents, Mel is requesting a custody agreement change regarding 8-year-old daughter Madison, who she shares with ex-husband Stephen.

Mel is requesting that she move her daughter from California to England with her.

“As the court is well aware, my marriage to Stephen was unhealthy,” Mel continued in the docs. “I was subjected to years of verbal and sexual abuse by Stephen, which included his active isolation of my daughters and me (including Madison) from my home and family in the United Kingdom.”

Mel currently has primary custody of Madison with gets overnight custody every Wednesday, as well as every other weekend.

Mel B is reportedly dating Rory McPhee!

The 44-year-old Spice Girl and the 31-year-old hairdresser have been “on and off” dating for the past two years, according to The Sun on Sunday (October 27).

The two went to a friend’s wedding together last month, reportedly making the romance official.

They are “keeping things casual” according to one source, but Mel “can’t stop smiling when she’s around” him.

“As far as they are both concerned, they are happy and that’s all that matters,” the source went on to say.

Mel B is being sued.

The 44-year-old Spice Girl was hit with a lawsuit from her former hairstylist and personal assistant Poghos Karen “Gary” Madatyan for wrongful termination, according to paperwork filed on Thursday (September 26).

Mel is accused of causing emotional distress, failure to pay overtime and running up $200,000 in debt.

According to the complaint, Gary was assigned to service Mel B in all aspects of her life, and was required to move into her apartment building and be on-call 24-hours a day.

She reportedly mis-classified his employment status as an independent contractor, paying him $10,000 a month but making him pay $7,000 for his apartment. She also reportedly used his credit card and bank account to buy furniture, televisions, transportation and for parties.

He is also suing her personal doctor, who allegedly threatened him and used his name to prescribe amphetamine salts without authorization. He’s also claiming that he was pressured to lie to the Department of Child & Family Services about Mel B’s former husband’s treatment of their kids, which he allegedly refused.

He claims he was ultimately fired after asking for reimbursement, and calls her behavior “deplorable.”

“His basic human rights and dignity as an employee and person were chewed up, spit out, and trampled on. Gary is a warm, loving person and didn’t deserve this. Frankly, no one does. We look forward to justice before a jury,” his attorney said in a statement.

The 31-year-old “Domino” singer posted a video of herself singing on Saturday (September 21) with the caption “‘Overrated’ *Mel B Voice*” on her Instagram.

“Which artist outright do you think is the most overrated?” she was asked during the interview.
