Jennifer Lopez and her The Boy Next Door co-star Ryan Guzman discuss breakups in this new video provided exclusively to JustJared.com.

The two co-stars sat down with each other to discuss some of the themes of the movie, which hits theaters on January 23. In case you didn’t know, the film follows a recently divorced woman (Lopez) who falls for a younger man (Guzman) who just moved in across the street, though their torrid affair takes an obsessive, dangerous turn.

“Is there any good way to end a relationship, you know, just be friends?” Jennifer asks Ryan. He responds saying, “You cannot be nice! No! You gotta take it like a band-aid. Quick and easy.”

“Oh my god! I’m glad you and I are not together,” Jennifer replies. Watch below!

Scott Eastwood and Anthony Mackie suit up to hit the red carpet at the InStyle and Warner Bros. Party held after the 2015 Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 11) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 28-year-old Longest Ride actor and Anthony, 36, were joined at the event by The Boy Next Door‘s Ryan Guzman, Rizzoli & Isles actor Colin Egglesfield, The Wedding Ringer‘s Josh Gad, and Game of Thrones star Alfie Allen.

Jennifer on Ryan’s sex appeal: “There was something about him that was boyish but manly at the same time�”innocent, but [able to] go dark, and that was sexy.”

Ryan on his sex scene with Jennifer: “That was the time in the film when I was the most uncomfortable. We had to choreograph every piece. I know it looks like we’re in the moment and feeling each other out, but actually – and this is kind of embarrassing�”[director] Rob Cohen was like, ‘Move your hand to the left,’ and ‘Can you arch your back a little bit?’ It was the most unsexy-really-sexy scene that you’ll see on screen.

Ryan on working with Jennifer: “I mean, she didn’t lose any focus at any point. She was doing American Idol, getting ready for the AMAs, getting her book ready, and doing our film while getting another film ready. So, jus seeing her, in her element, it made realize that’s the goal. The goal is to still have that spark and that want to just continue growing and keep things moving forward.”

Ryan Guzman shows off his chiseled set of abs in this brand new feature for Da Man magazine!

Here’s what the 26-year-old actor had to share with the mag:

On the Jem and the Holograms film: The movie is about bringing Jem into the new century and making it relevant. It’s about a group of girls and how they evolve on their rise to stardom. I play Rio, who is their road manager. Rio and Jem have a spark between them that is undeniable, which leads to an adventurous journey between the two.

On his upcoming movie with Jennifer Lopez: Noah in The Boy Next Door was a complete change from any other character I’ve ever played. I had to become insane and obsessed with love. It was amazing to play something out of my comfort zone.

On the Step Up franchise: I randomly heard through one of my friends a couple of years back about the auditions for a Step Up movie when I had just signed with a manager. Acting was so new to me, but I thought I’d give it a try. After a month and a half of auditioning, I got the lead role in Step Up Revolution and haven’t looked back since. When Step Up All In was presented to me, I, of course, said yes and the rest is history.
