Sasha Calle‘s performance as Supergirl got Henry Cavill‘s stamp of approval.
The 27-year-old actress plays the iconic superhero in the upcoming movie The Flash, which is set to come out on June 16.
In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Sasha revealed that she’d asked Henry for his thoughts on her performance after he saw the film.

Also in attendance were Jenna‘s Wednesday co-star Percy Hynes White, as well as Stranger Things‘ Jamie Campbell Bower, Euphoria‘s Chloe Cherry, Top Gun: Maverick‘s Danny Ramirez, and singers Gracie Abrams and Conan Gray, among others.

Last week, Jenna stunned on the Golden Globes red carpet, where she was a first-time nominee for her work in the new Netflix series.

French actress/singer Soko and Troye Sivan celebrate the launch of Frieze Los Angeles with Alexander McQueen and MatchesFashion at Simon House on Valentine’s Day in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Guests, who enjoyed a special performance by Soko, snacked on canapes and spicy pineapple margaritas by LOVE and were able to view an exclusive installation of the new season Spring/Summer 2022 collection. Soko performed a medley of songs including “Oh To Be A Rainbow” and “Looking for Love“.

A teaser trailer for the upcoming The Flash movie was unveiled during the DC FanDome live stream event!
Ezra Miller is reprising his role as Barry Allen in the upcoming movie, which will be part of the DC Extended Universe. The film has no connection to The CW’s The Flash series starring Grant Gustin, which also was featured during the DC FanDome event.
The upcoming The Flash movie will introduce DCEU fans to the DC multiverse and Barry will shift into an alternate universe in which Batman is played by Michael Keaton. He previously played the role back in 1989 and 1992.
The new trailer features a voiceover from Keaton, who questions why Barry wants to save the timeline that he’s currently in.
The movie is currently in production and is scheduled to be released on November 4, 2022.

Sasha Calle has landed the role of Supergirl in the DC Universe and she’ll make her debut in the upcoming The Flash movie.
The 22-year-old actress will be the first Latina actress to ever play Supergirl and she was chosen from a pool of 425 actresses who auditioned, according to Deadline.
Sasha is best known for her role as Lola Rosales on the CBS soap opera series The Young and the Restless.
“I saw more than four hundred auditions. The US, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia. The talent pool was truly amazing and it was very hard to make a decision, but we finally found an actress who was destined to play this role,” The Flash director Andy Muschietti said in a statement.
Andy posted a cute video of the Zoom call in which he told Sasha she has the role. Watch below!
