Odeya Rush heads out of the NBC studios and stops to take photos with fans after an appearance on The Today Show on Wednesday morning (August 13) in New York City.

The 17-year-old actress opened up about her new film The Giver and what it was like working alongside the legendary Meryl Streep.

“When Meryl is in her character, you don’t see Meryl,” Odeya said. “She loses any drop of Meryl in her. It is real fear. It is real tears. That’s why I think actors are so good around her.”

Odeya Rush is a silver beauty while speaking on stage during the Meet the Filmmakers event for her new movie The Giver held at the Apple Store Soho on Tuesday (August 12) in New York City.

The 17-year-old actress was joined by her co-star Brenton Thwaites.

Odeya recently opened up about spending time with the cast in between filming.

“Jeff [Bridges] brought his guitar to set one day and we started having jam sessions during the breaks,” she told InStyle. “Brenton and Cameron [Monaghan] would also play guitar and I would sing. It was so much fun!”
