The 33-year-old music superstar is working on an untitled film that also stars Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan.
Plot details are being kept under wraps. The project is currently in production.

The Weeknd and Ariana Grande have teamed up again!
After previously collaborating on the songs “Love Me Harder” and the “Save Your Tears” remix, the singers have released the “Die for You” remix.
“Die for You” is a song that was featured on The Weeknd‘s 2017 album Starboy and a remix featuring SZA was released back in 2021.
Ariana teased the new remix earlier this week and revealed she recorded her verse after a full day of filming the Wicked movie. She said, “Wrote and recorded a verse for my friend after a 14 hour day on set. This certain exception had to be made.”
“You know what I’m thinkin’, see it in your eyes / You hate that you want me, hate it when you cry / It ain’t workin’ ’cause you’re perfect (Mm) / And I know you deserve it / I can’t walk away,” Ariana sings on her pre-chorus verse.

The Weeknd is gearing up to drop a new music video.
The 32-year-old hitmaker was spotted out on set on Thursday evening (February 9) in Los Angeles.
While it’s unclear what song the video is for, it looks like it’ll be a dramatic visual with moody vibes. Based on what we’re seeing, The Weeknd was filmed next to a black car.

The Weeknd has released his new song “Nothing Is Lost (You Give Me Strength)” from the soundtrack for Avatar: The Way of Water.
The 32-year-old Grammy-winning singer made the song with Swedish House Mafia and it’s featured in the blockbuster film, which is now in theaters.
“You give me strength / I’m with you either way / If I die, if I stay, give me strength / I’m with you either way / Nothing’s lost, no more pain / Just give me strength,” The Weeknd sings in the chorus for the song.

The list of the Top 30 highest-grossing concert tours of the year has been released!
Pollstar has dropped the touring data for the year and all of the concerts this year grossed $6.28 billion collectively, which is a new record.
One of the drivers in increasing tour revenue was the move from arena tours to stadium tours in 2022, with artists from all genres playing the biggest venues in the country.
Shockingly and sadly, only two women are in the Top 30 and you’re probably going to be surprised by some of the names on this list.
The data is just for North American shows instead of worldwide shows. We have some interesting info, including the average gross per show for each tour and the amount of tickets each artist sold.

The Weeknd will be releasing a new song this Friday as part of the Avatar: The Way of Water soundtrack and he stepped out for the film’s L.A. premiere!
The 32-year-old Grammy-winning singer was joined by his friend H.E.R. while walking the red carpet at the Dolby Theater on Monday night (December 12) in Hollywood.
The Weeknd also met up with the film’s producer Jon Landau.
The theme song for the movie is reportedly titled “Nothing is Lost (You Give Me Strength)” and will drop on the same day as the film’s theatrical release. Hear a preview below!
H.E.R. won an Oscar for Best Original Song for her song in Judas and the Black Messiah, something The Weekndng> likely hopes to do for his song in Avatar 2.
