Tory Lanez sounded off on his Instagram this afternoon about the claims stating he shot Megan Thee Stallion in the foot earlier in the summer.

The 28-year-old rapper took to his social media to claim his innocence again, saying that all the evidence against him is “falsified”.

“For the last three months of my life, I’ve been in this place where I’ve been bashed, I’ve been cut through — just people every single day just coming at me, coming at me, coming at me,” Tory started in his rant.

He continued, “It’s crazy because the whole thing about it is — when this whole debacle, or whatever you call it, came about, the whole time was like … She knows what happened, I know what happened, and we know that what you’re saying and what the alleged things and the alleged accusations of my name is [sic] are not true.”

“It’s falsified information, it’s false information and it’s not accurate information,” Tory said. “I don’t ever wanna come off like I’m here to bash this girl or I’m here to talk down about this girl or ever be at a place where, like, I’m disrespecting her, because to me, as a person, she’s still my friend. No matter what — even if she doesn’t look at me like that — I look at her like she’s still my friend.”

Tory reportedly shot Megan after a party they attended together. He was recently charged and is facing up to 22 years in prison.

Megan reacted to Tory‘s rant on Twitter later, writing, “This n**** genuinely crazy.”

Tory Lanez has been ordered to stay away from Megan Thee Stallion during a court appearance today (October 13) in Los Angeles.

TMZ is reporting that Tory was arraigned on assault charges after opening fire on Megan and shooting her in the foot earlier in the summer.

The judge issued a protective order against Tory and will have to stay at least 100 feet away from Megan at all times, and not be in contact with her. The judge also order Tory to surrender any guns he is in possession of.

Tory is facing up to 22 years in jail following the incident, and has been charged with one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, and one count of carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle.

Megan first named Tory as the shooter in August, following her accident.

Tory Lanez has been charged with assault.

The 28-year-old Canadian rapper was charged with assaulting a woman “who is obviously Megan Thee Stallion, per information provided by the Los Angeles district attorney’s office,” via Variety on Thursday (October 8).

He faces a possible maximum sentence of 22 years and eight months in prison, according to the report.

“While she is not identified by name, all of the other details line up with the July 12 incident in which she has claimed he fired a gun at her as she exited the car in which they had been traveling, resulting in injuries to her feet that required surgery. (Her age was actually 25 at the time.),” Variety adds.

“The rap artist known as Tory Lanez has been charged with assaulting a female friend in the Hollywood Hills earlier this year. Daystar Peterson aka Tory Lanez (dob 7/27/92) was charged today in case BA490599 with one felony count each of assault with a semiautomatic firearm – personal use of a firearm – and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. The defendant also faces a gun allegation and that he personally inflicted great bodily injury,” the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced.

“On July 12, the defendant and the 24-year-old victim got into an argument while riding in an SUV in the Hollywood Hills. The victim exited the vehicle and Peterson is accused of shooting several times at her feet and wounding her. If convicted as charged, the defendant faces a possible maximum sentence of 22 years and eight months in state prison. The case remains under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, Hollywood Division,” the announcement concludes.

His arraignment is scheduled for October 13.

The 29-year-old singer revealed on Twitter that she took the 28-year-old rapper off of her album amid his shooting incident with Megan Thee Stallion.

JoJo collaborated with Tory and 30 Roc for the track “Comeback” on her album, good to know. The standard version of the album was released in May, but JoJo told a fan that Tory will not be on the deluxe album, which will be released on August 28th.

In an Instagram Live session on Thursday night (August 20), Megan slammed Tory and revealed what actually happened on that night.

“Y’all hoes so worried ’bout it. Yes, this ni–a Tory shot me,” Megan said during the live. “You shot me. And you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lying and sh-t. Stop lying. Why lie? I don’t understand. I tried to keep the situation off the internet, but you dragging it. You really f–kin’ dragging it. Muthaf–kas talkin’ ‘bout I hit this ni–a. I never hit you. Muthaf–kas was like, ‘Oh she mad ’cause he was tryna f–k with Kylie.’ No I wasn’t. You dry shot me.”

She added, “Everybody in the car…it’s only four muthaf–kas in the car. Me, you, my homegirl and yo security. Everybody in the car arguing. I’m in the front seat, this ni–a in the backseat. I get out the car, I’m done arguing. I don’t wanna argue no more. I get out. I’m walking away. This ni–a, from out the backseat of the car, start shooting me. You shot me. I ain’t get cut by no glass.”

The person who allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion is Tory Lanez, according to a shocking new report from Page Six on Thursday (July 16).

The 28-year-old Love Me Now? Canadian rapper and singer reportedly shot the 25-year-old “Savage” superstar following a dispute inside his vehicle on Sunday morning (July 12).

“Tory fired the shots from within the vehicle while Megan was outside trying to leave. There is video and the police are investigating. This is a case of a man physically harming and abusing a woman,” a source told the publication.

“We’re told the argument started after the group left a Hollywood Hills party together in the chauffeur-driven SUV, and at some point, Megan and her friend, Kelsey Nicole, wanted out of the vehicle. Our sources say Tory opened fire from inside the vehicle, and allegedly hit Meg in the feet twice…Megan‘s feet were clearly bleeding on the sidewalk as she followed police instructions to exit the vehicle, TMZ also reports.

“Megan initially told police she had cut her feet on glass, but remember…she’s the victim in this case — as police had listed her from the start. It’s entirely possible she felt intimidated as an alleged domestic violence victim. There’s also this complication — witnesses are not cooperating with police up to this point, according to law enforcement sources, and without witnesses who are willing to testify it might be hard to prove the case against Tory,” the outlet adds.

The LAPD would not confirm to Page Six whether there was indeed a video submitted to the investigation, and said if footage existed it would “not be released until the case goes to court in order to protect the integrity of the case.”

“The detectives are seeking information regarding the shooting involving Daystar Peterson, and the investigation is still ongoing. I’m not privilege to what the detectives have right now,” the spokesperson added, and would not confirm whether Tory was a suspect.

He was arrested in his SUV, moments after the incident, on gun possession charges. He later posted $35,000 bail and was released at 10:05 a.m. He is next scheduled to appear in court on October 13.
