The 57-year-old The Wendy Williams Show host is reportedly under psychiatric evaluation, according to Page Six on Thursday (September 16).
A New York Police Department spokesperson said they received a call at 8:43 a.m. on Tuesday (September 14) requiring an ambulance for a 57-year-old woman at her Manhattan address for a psychiatric evaluation. They were taken to Beth Israel Hospital.
Although the woman’s identity was not made clear, The Sun reports the unidentified woman was Wendy.
“It has been a very difficult time for Wendy. She’s a single woman with very few friends. She lost her marriage, her mom, and is living alone. There is a lot on her plate,” a source told the New York Post.
The premiere for Wendy‘s show has been pushed back amid news of her breakthrough coronavirus diagnosis.

“While continuing her health evaluations, Wendy has tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19,” he show’s Instagram page announced.
