Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx get together for a photograph at the photo call for their film White House Down held at the Fundacion Caja on Wednesday (September 4) in Madrid, Spain.

The 33-year-old actor and Jamie, 45, were joined at the event by the film’s director Roland Emmerich.

“What’s up Madrid? The Foxx has landed!,” Jamie wrote on his Twitter account. “Where my Spain #FOXXFANS at?”

The day before, Channing was spotted heading into the Axel Springer Publishing House with his team in Berlin, Germany.

Maggie Gyllenhaal chats with the crowd at Just Jared’s White House Down Screening held at the Chelsea Clearview Cinemas on Wednesday (June 26) in New York City.

The 35-year-old actress, who plays Secret Service Agent Finnerty in the summer blockbuster flick, stopped by our advance screening of the film to participate in a Q&A session!

“I don’t want to be in the okay version of the huge summer movie. I want to be in the awesome version and I think that’s what Roland does,” Maggie said of wanting to work with director Roland Emmerich on the film.

“He’s Channing Tatum, he’s sexy, he’s sweet, he’s great. He’s great to work with,” Maggie told JustJared.com during the Q&A about her leading men. “I don’t know if I’m totally allowed to say this, but Jamie Foxx was my favorite! He’s so great. He made me laugh so hard that Roland had to come into the helicopter and say ‘Stop making her laugh.’ But I thought, ‘Okay, this Secret Service agent loves the president.’”

Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx get serious on the cover of THR‘s latest issue.

Here’s what the 33-year-old actor and new dad had to share with the mag:

Channing, on choosing this film: “A lot of people call me up, and they want to put a gun in my hand, and it’s such a weird place to be in. America is very, very divided right now. But I felt [this film] was a good way to point out some of the issues in our country [including the polarization of Washington] without being too dramatic or heavy.”

Channing, on working with Jamie: “Being with Jamie is like going to the theater while you are on set. He’ll break out into three or four different characters even while he’s [playing the president]; he’ll just bust out and then be over on the piano playing classical music. He is the purest form of entertainer I’ve ever met in my life.”
