Madonna plans to start building a multi-million-dollar girls’ school in Malawi for underprivileged children this year, her local lawyer said on Wednesday.
“A task force of four prominent Malawians has already been formed to head the project which will be on the scale of what Oprah Winfrey has in South Africa,” Madonna‘s lawyer Alan Chinula told Reuters.
Malawi’s High Court is expected to approve Madonna‘s bid to adopt two-year-old Malawian David Banda on Thursday.
Madonna will not attend the final court ruling on her adoption bid because she is busy with other engagements, Chinula said on Tuesday.

Maybe there is already schools for boys where she intends to build it, and girl aren’t allowed to go to school. Who cares? She’s fake, but at least she will help these kids. And even if girls are not the only victims of poverty, their access to education isn’t as easy as for boys. We all know that!

I guess career comes first and not adoption proceedings for her son! Everyone gave Britney a hard time when she didnt previously go to court for her boys earlier this year. I guess we know where her priorities lye. Copy cat much, adopt like Angelina and now build a girls school like Oprah, come up with your own ideas anything to try to stay relevant.
What is more important than her son’s adoption?
She isnt needed for the hearing.. the Malawian Gov’t has given her the go a head to let her keep baby David. And I am glad she is using her name and $$ to help out the impoverished and sick youth of Africa
