OlderSandra Bullock: Bonding with Baby Louis!
Sandra Bullock keeps a close grip on her cute baby, Louis, on Friday (September 17) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 46-year-old Oscar winner carried out her adopted son after the two visited a medical center.
Looks like baby Louis is in charge of the Bullock household even though he’s only 7 months old! “[He's] got the stage,” his proud mom recently said. “He likes to dance and celebrate. I got blessed, I got lucky. He’s extraordinary.”
On Thursday, a beaming and smiling Sandra dropped by West Hollywood gay bar The Abbey for what appeared to be a fun night out with friends!

while i have not always liked her choice of films i do have great respect for sandra. she is kind, forgiving, articulate. any young actor trying to get in the business should follow her example on how to behave in public.
At what point does he stop getting referred to as the “adopted” son? He is her son. End of story. Nice to see they are both doing well.
I totally agree with poster #4: why is Louis her “adopted son”?! He is her SON, period!! This is an insult to all adoptive parents and their babies … he is her child, pure and simple. Do you refer to mothers who have physically had babies as their “vaginally-born children”??. This labeling of adoptive children needs to end!!

@ 4&5: Maybe because he ISN’T her real biological son! Also, I don’t understand why she adopted a black child when she’s white herself. I’m sure there were plenty of white children she could’ve adopted.

I’m happy for Sandra. It just troubles me that it didn’t bother her at all to want JJ to be the father knowing he was such a racist. I’m not even talking about his cheating I’m talking about all the Nazi stuff.
I really do think besides that she’ll be a good mom, just poor choice who she was adopting with.

She’s gorgeous, and obviously a good person. @mina – She’s clearly a kind-hearted person and wanted to be a mother. She adopted a child that was in need of a mother, regardless of his color. That’s a good thing.

No Mina, there are not plenty of white babies out there for adoption. Bullock and James said they wanted the first available child. They went through the adoption process step-by-step and Louis was the first available child.
Do some research on adoption before you spout ignorant comments. You will see that white babies are at a premium. Do you honestly think Sharon Stone got three blonde haired blue-eyed boys (the most requested adoptees by adopters) by accident? No she did not.
Instead of knocking folks for adopting children of other races (and you probably knock them for adopting children with disabilities), why don’t you instead get off your high horsed bu-tt and look out for the welfare of a child?
Hope you never adopt. You don’t have what it takes.
@kate: Sandra and Jesse started adoption process years before Blind Side and they stated no racial or gender preference. At the time New Orleans was over 60% Black so there was a good chance they would get a black child
@Mina: What does it matter what color baby she adopted???? The fact is that she saved a child’s life,that needed someone to love him and take care of him.

@mina, you are obviously entitled to your opinion and preference but unfortunately, your way of thinking is a prime example of what is wrong with this country. Its this way of thinking — and speaking — that keeps hate alive and well. But life has a way of working this out… I know people who hated homosexuals until one of their children came out of the closet — changed their minds, there are people who didn’t approve of interacial marriages until someone in their family marriage someone from another race and unless that person was accepted the family was cut off — they got to the know the person and loves them, as a part of the family, etc., etc., etc.,. Mina, one day you will need someone to help you, maybe a bone marrow transplant or a heart (which you need now) or something else that will be life changing — you might be in a burning car and the ONLY person who is a blood match or the only person around to drag you out of a car may be black — would your rather die than have a black person help you? If so, then I suggest you look out because one day it will happen. Words cannot change your mind or your heart but life has a way of doing it and sometimes it can get very harsh. Please try to open your mind and realize there is no point or reason, to hate another person just based on their race and its a big waste of time. Whoever has taught you to hate so much has literally ruined your life.

@Patricia: i AGREE with what you said. you seem a wise person .I think sandra bullock will be a good mother ,I believe she is a person with good heart and she adopted him because she want to be mam and she didnt think of his color it happen that he turn to be Black I strongly believe sandra bullock she is amazing human being and I think people should stop judging her .
