OlderEmily VanCamp: 'Revenge' Was a Huge Gamble
Emily VanCamp grabs a quick lunch to-go at her local Whole Foods Market on Thursday (June 7) in West Hollywood, Calif.
Afterwards, the 26-year-old Revenge star headed to a nail salon with a pal for a bit of pampering.
Emily recently spoke with Deadline about her role in Revenge.
“I read Revenge and thought this was a huge gamble. It was the only pilot [role] I fought for,” she said.
“I call [series creator] Mike Kelley all the time, concerned that I messed up a scene because Emily is so complicated specifically in regards to how much I should hold back,” Emily admitted.

@karen: I agree. I bet it turns out Jack is not the father. Maybe Tyler raped Amanda when he kidnapped her, or maybe the father is Emily’s mentor who drove off with Amanda (Takeda?). Love this show!

series is great and she is perfect for role, was good in everwood also. hopefully she gets cast in some more movies now!! be excellent for adverstising gigs, her look is different, like somebody else mentioned, fresh appeal.
