Katy Perry is all smiles as she spends Independence Day riding her bike in Venice Beach on Wednesday (July 4) in Venice, Calif.
“Just touched down on AMERICAN soil… appropriately timed! #Americangirl #theTomPettyone,” the 27-year-old singer wrote on her Twitter account.

I love Katy Perry as well and agree she is pretty amazing! I loved watching her perform during last night’s Fourth of July celebrations on NBC and she performed two of my favorite songs! I wasn’t able to catch the airing live but I was able to watch it on my Hopper, because it was automatically recorded with the Prime Time Anytime feature. I played this show back today and was able to completely block out commercials with the push of a button. Thank goodness my coworker at Dish suggested this upgrade because it really saves me time.
